The oenologist’s work
Located at the south of Chambery, the Roussanne grows on a terroir principally composed of gravel filtering. The vineyards are based on the Southern hills of “les Bauges”.
Vinification
For the elaboration of this wine, no machine intervenes in the grapes picking. Maceration with the skins and low temperature fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled low temperature.
The sommelier’s description
Colour is clear, brilliant with yellow tints. The nose is intense, with notes of peach, abricot and infusion. Full-bodied and rounded in the mouth with a superbly exuberant finish. Long-lasting aromas: hawthorn, hazelnut, apricot.
Food & wine pairing
It pairs well with frog legs, shellfish, pike-perch fillet. It can be served on aperitive too.
