Les Fils de René Quénard
Vin de Savoie Rouge AOP
The vines are planted on the south-facing of “massif des Bauges”. The vineyard of “Clos de la Galèze” is surrounded by “dry stone” retaining walls built by the monks themself.
Vineyards are worked in a traditional way with full respect for the environment. The wine is matured in oak barrels . Temperature-controlled tapered vats + grape stomping
Some vine stock are more than 130 year-old. They produce just 4 or 5 bunches of grapes. This alchemy makes Mondeuse cru Arbin Clos de la Galèze, a spicy and powerful wine with very complex aromas.
